13 Signs You're Doing Much Better Than You Think

I know. Sometimes life hits you HARD. It feels like one thing happens after the other. It feels like you're constantly being knocked down. It feels like there is just no way to get back up. But I promise...you are doing better than you think.

We've all been there. We've all hit our rut at some point in time, and it was nearly impossible to see the sun shining through the cloudy skies. But for 2018, I've been learning to be more appreciative of the little things that reminds me I'm in way better position than it appears.

You woke up this morning

You have a job

You have a car

You have at least one good friend

You ate something today

You have a roof over your head

Someone loves you

You love someone too

You paid your bills this month

You have at least five outfits in your closet

You're healthy

You have time to enjoy a hobby

You can make decisions for yourself

Can you say that any of these apply to you? Trust me...you're doing pretty good.

  1. I agree with you 100% , we need to stop and have gratitude for all the wonderful things that we DO have and not focus on what we DON'T have.

  4. Thanks for the reminder that even when things look really bleak, they really aren't so bad! I really needed it. My chronic pain has been flaring up, and I was starting to feel sorry for myself, but you're right, I have a huge list of things to be grateful for :-)

  7. Its funny how at first, as i was going through the list, i couldn't help but think to myself "but those are obvious..." But then i backtracked and really thought about it. Everything you mentioned is an absolute gift, never to be taken for granted. thank you :)
