Mason Jar Strawberry Vanilla Overnight Oats

Last month, I shared with you all my new found love for overnight oats. I created Blueberry Overnight Oats, and it was amazing. It took me so long to hop on the overnight oats bandwagon, but now that I'm onboard I can't get enough of it.

You all seemed to enjoy the recipe last month. So, I wanted to share how much I've been really experimenting with this delicious breakfast option. I mixed up Strawberries and Vanilla.

Strawberries and Vanilla are just the perfect combination. Truthfully, it makes me feel like I'm having dessert for breakfast. And maybe I'm a little weird, but I acutally like when my strawberries are a bit tart for this.

So why in a mason jar? I don't know. Decoration? It's actually very convenient. Placing it in a tight lid jar ensures for freshness, and it's easy to just grab the next morning. You guys know that outside of my lovely blog site, I work full time Monday-Friday. I'm short on time in the mornings, and the last thing I want to do is rush through some drive thru each day to pick up breakfast. This works for me. I basically prepared this the same way I did with the Blueberry Oats.

Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oat
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup of vanilla flavored yogurt
1 cup of fresh strawberries
1 mason jar

Directions:
-Take your mason jar and add your rolled oats
-Pour your almond milk into the mason jar on top of your oats.
-Add the yogurt to your oats
-Mix in your fresh strawberries on top.
-If you like, you can top of the remainder of your oats with strawberries if you haven't used them all
-Allow your oats to sit overnight or at least 8 hours. This will allow the yogurt and almond milk to saturate the oats

And that's it. I can't emphasize enough how quick it is to make this. Less than 5 minutes is all it takes. Packed with fiber. Packed with protein. Packed with so many great essentials. I always seem to forget to add chia seeds to my oats, but you can totally do this as well.

I hope you guys enjoyed this mixture as well as I did.
