I had a list of recipes I planned to share on the blog for this month and I have to tell you all, this wasn't one of them. Creating this Oatmeal Raisin Cookie was random AF. I wanted an evening treat. Something that was sweet, but not ridiculously sweet. I checked out my pantry and this is what I came up with.
I shared the recipe on my Insta stories and got a lot of views. I decided to share on here as well for those interested in recreating this simple snack
These are similar to my Peanut Butter Energy Bites that I created a while. I used just about the same amount of ingredients. However, this time I added cinnamon, raisins, and a pinch of salt. Literally a pinch of salt.
Super Fast Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Create your own oatmeal raisin cookie with just a few simple ingredients.

Ingredients
2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (I melted mine in the microwave for about 30 seconds)
1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
1/3 cup raisins
1 tbsp cinnamon
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp almond milk
Instructions
1.Preheat oven to 375°F
2. In a mixing bowl, add your ingredients

3. Stir until everything is evenly mixed
4. Taking a tablespoon amount of your mixture, and begin forming into cookie rounds
5. Add to your baking sheet
6. Allow to bake for approximately 10 minutes or until cookies are crisp
7. Enjoy
Notes
You can use almond butter if peanut butter isn't your thing
